October 6th, 7th and 8th, 2006 Third Annual Soulard Oktoberfest Event organizers are tripling the fun this year at the 3rd Annual Soulard Oktoberfest. Building on last year's phenomenal success, organizers have added a third headlining act to the musical roster for this year's Soulard Oktoberfest. In addition, the event will offer more attractions and activities to appeal to all age groups.
From carnival rides to a Family Strassen with booths decorated and manned by local high school German club members, there will something to keep everyone entertained. Sample a section of the world's largest brat and other taste treats. German music is a must at Soulard Oktoberfest and this year's festival will offer authentic German music all day and all night including: Two time Grammy winners, Brave Combo, who will be back for two nights on Friday and Saturday; America's number one German band, die Schlauberger, who will perform Friday and Saturday night in the German Tent; and The Haarbruecker Brass band, direct from Germany.
