There's some parking across from Soulard on the east side of Broadway, but your best bet: Park downtown and take a cab, or hop a shuttle from the Scottrade Center Metro Station.

Soulardians love Mardi Gras, but they often feel a little put upon (or pee'd upon) by revelers who don't want to wait for a restroom, and urinate in their backyard, on their cars, houses, flowers, pets, etc. Also, a lot of people's property has been broken in the process. In general, be nice to the neighborhood, they're throwing a heck of a party!

You never know what the weather is going to be like in St. Louis for Mardi Gras. We might have a snowstorm or it might be quite balmy. There might be sun or rain. It is even possible to have all in the same day.

Numerous checkpoints will be set up throughout Soulard for your safety. Bottles, cans, backpacks, and coolers are NOT allowed at Soulard Mardi Gras.
