Joanie's Pizzeria, organizer of the annual Spaghetti Wrestling extravaganza, has confirmed that the event will be on hiatus this year.
Normally, the marinara-soaked spectacle is scheduled around the end of January. However the earliness of this year's Mardi Gras would have pushed the schedule too far, and interfered with holiday events. All should be well for next year, though, so those of you who were going to compete now have an extra year to practice your "atomic pasta splash".. |
